Always Welcome Charlotte
SAIR is strong because of its diversity of backgrounds, thoughts, and life experiences. The city of Charlotte has taken steps to communicate that the city also values diversity and equality. The campaign is called “Always Welcome Charlotte”. Business and venues will display this sign to designate the openness and acceptance of this community which is excited to welcome SAIR. Both the Westin Charlotte and the special event venue, NASCAR Hall of Fame, will be displaying this sign.
On behalf of the Institutional Research, Assessment and Planning professionals from the great state of North Carolina, we look forward to serving as your host association for the 2016 SAIR Conference.
The setting of the conference is in downtown Charlotte! You will find a wide variety of restaurants and retailers, as well as recreational and entertainment venues. All of these are in walking distance of the Westin Hotel. After your professional development activities, we hope that you will find time to enjoy some of the sites, dining and other activities Charlotte has to offer. You will find that Charlotte has dining and nightlife choices to suit every taste!
Again, we look forward to seeing you in October!
